Access was formerly provided for COSECSA trainees, and other lower and middle income country resarchers, to the University of Toronto library, this was know as the Ptolemy Project. The Ptolemy Project was discontinued in May 2016. The University of Toronto continues to assist COSECSA as one of the prinicpal forces behind the Surgery in Africa course on www.schoolforsurgeons.net.
