COSECSA, in partnership with Mercy Ships, is pleased to announce the Scholarship Program for Trainees, aimed at supporting eligible candidates enrolled in the 3-year Fellow of the College of Surgeons (FCS) training programme.
This collaborative initiative is designed to reduce financial barriers and empower the next generation of surgeons across East, Central and Southern Africa.
What the Scholarship Covers
Through the COSECSA–Mercy Ships partnership, 10 trainees will receive comprehensive support including:

FCS Programme entry fees

FCS examination fees

Graduation fees
-
Travel support for attending FCS examinations

Gown purchase for graduation

Four (4) years of annual subscription fees
This scholarship equips trainees with the resources needed to confidently progress through their surgical training.
