Join us for a hands-on surgical skills workshop designed specifically for residents, scrub technicians , scrub nurses and biomedical engineers focusing on Laparoscopy, Endoscopy, and WALANT techniques.
The Innovations in Laparoscopy program includes introductory lectures, practical training on FLS–SAGES tasks, a friendly FLS–SAGES task competition for residents, and live laparoscopic operative cases.
The Therapeutic Endoscopy session features foundational talks followed by hands-on OGD training on animal specimens, and supervised practice in key procedures including band ligation, sclerotherapy, injection techniques, polypectomy, and stricture dilation.
The Advanced WALANT segment includes demonstrations and live cases showcasing WALANT principles and techniques in clinical practice.
A dedicated training for scrub technicians, scrub nurses and biomedical engineers in laparoscopy and endoscopy equipment and patient management.
This workshop offers a comprehensive blend of theory, simulation, and real-case exposure to enhance residents’ procedural skills and confidence.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
The workshop dates have been changed to 27th and 28th March 2026.
Those who have already registered will be required to re-register to confirm participation due to the change of dates.
Participants may attend only one of the workshops, as they will be taking place concurrently.
