The College of Surgeons of East, Central and Southern Africa (COSECSA), with support from the Intuitive Foundation, is pleased to announce the 2026 COSECSA-Intuitive Foundation Travel Award.
This award aims to support COSECSA trainees and fellows with a demonstrated interest in research and innovation by enabling them to present their work at the 26th COSECSA Annual Scientific Conference, which will take place in Lilongwe, Malawi, from 3-4 December 2026.
Successful applicants will receive support for travel and accommodation to attend the conference. Submitted research topics must be relevant to surgery, and applicants should demonstrate ongoing engagement and interest in global surgery research.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be:
- Registered COSECSA Trainees, or
- COSECSA Fellows in good standing
Please note that only applicants whose abstracts have been accepted for presentation at the conference will be considered.
